Witherbloom Vampire Students and Life Gain
To the vampires of Witherbloom Campus, life and death go hand in hand (or is it “tooth in neck?” I can’t remember how the saying goes). Thirst for Knowledge is filled with life-gaining utilities and triggers. Use spells like Revenge of Ravens, Dogged Pursuit, and Marauding Blight-Priest to slowly bleed your opponent dry, then finish them with a massive, menacing Blood Researcher or flying Scion of the Swarm. For a really fun game, equip your Pests with Malefic Scythe. Is it ridiculous? Yes! Will it get you a massive Scythe and lots of life gain triggers? Double yes!
This is an example of what I call “Refrigerator Soup” Magic. The deck is composed almost entirely of cards I had in my collection at the time, with minimal purchasing to fill in. I’m not saying they’re good cards … I’m just saying I had them.
