Black/Green/Red Explore/Proliferate/Landfall

Brazen Buccaneers by Joseph Meehan

Mystery, adventure, and peril await in the woods … not to mention treasure! The bold sailors of the caravel HRMS Shadow are bound to find them all. Into the Woods! relies on the Explore mechanic to ramp lands, pump creatures, and stack your deck, with plenty of Proliferate and Landfall triggers to accelerate the process.

Remember to time your Proliferate spells to add quest counters to your Expeditions. If you have Evolution Sage on the battlefield, you can stack up quest counters even faster. Use Gyrus and Soul Stair Expedition to bring your dead explorers back for an encore, triggering their enter the battlefield abilities one more time. And make sure to pass around the Prying Blades to everyone on the crew so they have souvenirs to bring back home and show Mom.
