Get ready to bang your head until your nose bleeds, because these zombies go heavy! Rock stars like Sedris, Geth, Grimgrin, and Thraximundar headline the show, while their zombie minions thrash in the mosh pit below, grinding flesh into paste in honor of the gods of Metal. You can choose to go wide with zombie tokens or go tall by piling equipment and counters on a legendary zombie warrior, but either way, go heavy!

Use Terminate, Hurl Through Hell, and Deathbringer Thoctar to control early threats while you pile up zombie tokens and +1/+1 counters. Skullclamp will keep you stocked with cards while Sedris keeps your metalheads coming back for more with unearth. Send your big boys in for brutal sallies with equipment combos like Demonspine Whip and Fireshrieker.

If things get out of hand (and what kind of party would it be otherwise?) cast Decree of Pain or Black Sun’s Zenith to clear the stage for the next set. For aerial superiority, cast Levitation or welcome guest star Bladewing, Deathless Tyrant to the mic. Better yet, max out one of your legends’ power, then sacrifice it to Reign of the Pit to summon a game-ending flying demon.

Combo: Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Gravecrawler + Rooftop Storm

  • Results: Infinite ETB. Infinite LTB. Infinite sacrifice triggers. Infinite storm count. Infinite +1/+1 counters on Grimgrin.
  • Requires: All permanents on the battlefield.
  • Steps: Activate Grimgrin’s ability by sacrificing Gravecrawler, untapping Grimgrin and putting a +1/+1 counter on Grimgrin. Cast Gravecrawler from your graveyard by paying (0). Repeat.
