Augur of Agonies

White/Blue/Black Card Draw and Life Gain

Queza, Augur Of Agonies by Julie Dillon

There are more threats on the streets of New Capenna than just the Five Families. At night, the vampires come out to feed, and it doesn’t take an oracle to see the pain coming …

Augur of Agonies is all about the little sacrifices, especially those made by your opponent. Most things here cause your opponent to lose life or gain life for you. Use Underworld Connections, Sign in Blood, and others to pay life for card draw, then trigger Queza to gain life from drawing cards (and force your opponent to lose life), then pile counters on Vampire Scrivener for gaining and losing life! The math just adds up … and up … and up. Don’t worry about drawing cards too recklessly; once you hit Elixir of Immortality, you can shuffle your graveyard back into your library and start all over again! Who could have seen that coming? That’s right, you!
